Revised now have sorted power out the cheep way
Old alarm box voltage & charge regulator and a 12v Battery got from boot sale for a £5.00
Also I have made a no wire transfer from turbine so no wire tangle as it spins round
Made out of brass water pipe and a cut bit plastic pipe bit p38 car filler.

this video is a reply to alot of e-mails that I get, asking me HOW DO I KNOW IF A MOTOR IS GOOD FOR A WIND TURBINE, well this one was free from a skip just took me 3 minutes to undo 2 bolts from an old treadmill, NOW THERE’S LOADS OF SCAMS ON E-BAY, people selling anything as wind turbines, and over rating their motors for sale ,NOW get the knowledge and info for free BEFORE BUYING ANYTHING, see how you can build a good solid working wind turbine also for free, now isn’t that good advice DO IT FOR FREE, I will tell you how FOR FREE.

My Green Home – My Wind Turbine – Air-X 12v Land

My Air-X Land 12V wind turbine is up and running.

Connected to 2 Xrantex portable power packs (65ah batteries and 1500w inverter in each pack), on a good wind day will charge the batteries from dead in less than 12hrs, usually takes 2-3 days in average winds. I have it mounted on a 27′ pole with #10awg wire to the base where the power packs are located. The system runs my 16 – 11 volt deck lights, 2 strings of 100 LCD patio lights for a few hours at night, electronic bug zapper all day, charges all my rechargable tools, flashlights, camera batteries and has lots of power left available for runing small tools like my drill and weed wacker when needed.
