Make sure you’re not needlessly using electricity. Things such as turning off lights when you’re not in a room help, but also make sure to only boil the water you need for tea/coffee etc.
Also, if you have a laptop, only charge it when it needs it helps. Try switching off appliances when you’re not using them (except obviously a fridge / freezer and other things that can’t be turned off). Hope this helps!

Plug your appliances, tv and computer into power strips. When not in use turn off the power strip. Appliances continue to draw power even when you shut them off.

well i think i read somewhere that things you pull into the wall still take up energy?
so maybe unplug certain things you won’t be using for a long period of time?

things that are OFF still draw electric so UNPLUG as many things as you can. Set your AC to 79, it will STILL be cooler than outside. Use candles at night. READ instead of watching TV!
