I just watched an infomercial for an electric heater call Eden-PURE. It’s suppost to cut your heating bills by alot. I went to a "infomercial review" webpage & read many reviews on it and most reviews were positive, but one thing struck me as odd- there were no misspellings in any of them… Which leads me to believe these "reviews" were more or less ads for the product… So if anybody has one of these EdenPURE units or knows alot about them please let me know if they’re worth buying. Thanx alot. P.S. There’s alot of people that don’t spend the time to use spell check like I do-that’s why I find it odd there’s no misspellings.

i googled it; and found a site www.wcpo.com that has a series called don’t waste your money; they had their partners at consumer reports magazine test it along with multiple others (20) and this particular one came in LAST. So you were wise in being cautious and wanting more information before spending that kind of money on it! they do carry a list of the very best to get as well as the very worst which in this case is the edenpure electric heater. I will let you go there to determine which one you prefer to get if any! good luck!

I live in Minnesota and these things are EVERYWHERE. I could probably name a hundred people that swear by these kinds of heaters.

The technology is what makes these things amazing.

The combination of Quartz lamps and copper chambers create an infrared effect that doesnt over heat the air so it allows the heat to travel through the humidity in the area. With that, it is possible to heat OVER a 1000 ft with the 1500 model (EdenPure) at an energy efficient rate.

One thing you must know is that EdenPure is a plastic mail-order product built for mass sales which sacrifices efficiency. There is a nicer unit made by SunHeat that is built more for long lasting and has a more efficient heat. Here are some of the differences I have found:

EdenPure: 1 Year limited Warranty (might be 3 year limited warranty now). Has to be shipped to Canton, OH to be fixed and an ETA is not given (usually). Made out of plastic and aluminum. Overseas customer service (different person everytime).

SunHeat: 3 Year Warranty on all parts/repairs. Localized dealers to repair and answer questions. Made out of solid oak and galvanized steel to store and produce a larger amount of energy.

The price on the Sunheats are usually about $100 higher than EdenPure but for those very good reasons.

Right now I have 1 of the SunHeat 1500s heating my 1000 sq ft house (Minnesota in October). Both of these brands sell the same technology but I personally think that one is more superior than the other (I’ll let you decide). No matter which one you go with, you should be able to get your money back plus more with the savings on your energy bill.

I hope this helps!

P.S. I apologize if I didn’t make any typos… I did mess up some grammar though ;)
